                              Hello and Welcome!

     I am Chef Steven Ferneding, I am currently the Chef aboard Motor Yacht "Seas the Moment" located in Nassau Bahamas. I enjoy every opportunity to use the skills I have acquired while attending The Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Institute and while working aboard other mega yachts, where I can further enhance the guest and owners cruising experience.

      I have graduated from The Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Program at the top of my class in Portland, Oregon. Worked in San Diego's premier seafood restaurant "The  Oceanaire" and worked along side of "San Diego's Top Chef". I have been presented with awards for outstanding performance and grades while in school. I am also trained and certified in SERVSAFE's Food Protection Manager Certification Program.

      Since I have been in the yachting industry, I have worked on sport fishing boats such as Anticipation 38’, A Hooker 38’, and luxury yachts Strait Jacket 110’ and Seas the Moment 70’. I have completed the STCW 95’ and the Tender Operator RHIB course at the Maritime Professional Training in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

      I love traveling the world, meeting new people, engaging in other cultures, cooking and integrating local ingredients from different locations and incorporating them into an assortment of healthy gourmet meals for my guests.
